The climation of production

RuiAn seed company lies in north-west China in Jiuquan of Gansu province.

 Jiuquan is located at 1,500 meter above sea level, North latitude of37 o 59-41o31 and East longitude of 99o21- 99o 30 on “Hexi corridor". Covering an area of 191.200 square kilometers ,42% of total surface of Gansu province. The wide range at elevations from 700 meter up to 2,500 meter above sea level can produce almost all of crops.

  The yearly average daylight is 3033.4-3316.5 hours, temperature 3.9-9.3 with frost-free period of 118-159 days. The active accumulated temperature steadily over 10oC is 2081.5-3611.3, The yearly rainfall is 36.8mm-176.0mm; vaporization 2495.2-3140.6mm. There are 16 river from three main water-ways originated from the snow covered areas of Qilian mountains.

  The summer is very hot but winter is so cold in Gansu. There is big different temperature from day and night in summer. It’s about 25-30o Celsius during the day, at night it is only 15o Celsius. The winter is very cold with the temperature below minus 20-30o Celsius. There are unfavorable for many pathogens and insects exist hence it will be good areas for a quality seed product.

  The total population of Jiuquan city about 1,000,000, the specific environment depending on elevation and dry cropping season, agriculture has very long history in this district which is an important production base for vegetable, flower and herbs.
